Description: Watch these fun to make, and easy to follow recipes, and you’ll improve your culinary skills dramatically!

Fun, clear, recipes that are easy to follow and presented with a sense of humor. Chef John isn’t afraid to show you when things go wrong and does a great job of making the culinary arts accessible no matter what your skill level. Be the boss of your food!

Name: Food Wishes
Resource Type: YouTube Channel
Subject Area: Cooking
Description: Join the feast! New Fictional Foods cooked up every week!

If you’ve ever wanted to make the fictional foods from popular movies, video games, books, or television shows, this is the cooking show for you. The recipes range from beginner to intermediate and the hosts walk you through each step. I recommend the Kung Fu Panda Dumplings in particular; I’ve made them twice (although I substituted ground pork for the ground beef) and they’ve been a big hit both times.

Name: Sorted Food
Resource Type: YouTube Channel
Subject Area: Cooking
Description: Cooking for beginners – with a ton of laughter thrown in. New recipe videos every Tuesday and Friday. FridgeCam vlogs every Sunday!

On top of providing beginner-friendly recipes, the guys at Sorted are hilarious to watch; poor Ben has his hands full sometimes keeping the others reigned in, but he always manages to turn out something delicious. I haven’t had a chance to try their recipes yet, but I bought their cookbook a few months ago and I’m looking forward to trying them soon!
